After selecting the appropriate design package, completing the "Client Questionnaire" and confirming "Terms and Conditions" it's time to take the measurements of the interior and send them to me along with photos. To make it easier for you and me, you can write down the individual dimensions using different colours, for example:
- Measurements of the length, widths and height of the room , doors and windows in one colour e.g. red
- Electrical installation points such as sockets, switches and heating in a different colour e.g. yellow
- Other elements on the wall in another colour e.g. blue
When noting down the dimensions please use CM or MM! Then please scan and send them to the following email address: infobayodesign@gmail.com or via the "Client Questionnaire".
Draw the layout of your room, and remember to measure and impose all lengths and widths. Like in our examples, sign each wall: wall A, wall B, and so on. Then mark any radiators or other items like windows and doors in the right places. And measure any permanent elements such as bookshelves, fireplaces, etc. Using the same singing method as before (wall A, wall B, and so on), draw each wall separately from different views and take photos of them preferably in daylight. While drawing your layout, remember to mark the location of any necessary items, such as;
- light switches
- power outlets
- security systems
- speakers
- heating control panels
- meter boards
- switchboards
- wall lights
- pendants
- recessed light fittings
Important: In the case of unusual rooms, with bevels or numerous niches, follow the same way or preferably put all dimensions on the photos taken, along with useful information.
If there are any missing dimensions, we may contact you to clarify or make up for the necessaries. For bathrooms and kitchens, you will have to measure any connection from the end of the wall to the center. Then measure the height from the floor and the center of the connection point. Mark any electrical points with a different colour than the plumbing points.
